  • - On the schemes in question, it is anticipated there will be 2 - 3 road sweepers at any one time.

  • - It is anticipated there will be a road sweeper tipping every two hours into the Managed Sweeper Waste System.

  • - Initially it is the intention for all the bleed waters to be forwarded to a holding tank where the waters will be temporarily stored prior to offsite disposal via tanker.

  • sweeper tip
  • - In the interest of cost, it is recommended samples of the bleed water are dispatched for analysis to determine whether or not cost savings could be made by discharging the bleed waters directly into a sewer (subject to obtaining appropriate permitting).

  • - In accordance with the European Waste Catalogue (EWC), the dewatered gully and sweeper waste will be listed under 20 03 03, a non-hazardous waste category.

  • - Minimise vehicle time away from station, increased productivity.

  • - Reduce emissions and improve carbon footprint

  • - Minimise waste to landfill

  • - Recycle maximum % of risings

  • - Store treated water for dust suppression

  • - Fully managed waste program with full chain of custody
